Finding the Adverb - A Tip!
Start by locating the verb in the sentence. Then, depending on the
context, ask yourself: "When, where, or how is the action done?"
For example, in the sentence
"She quickly called me yesterday from the park." We have:
"called" as the verb.
"quickly" tells how she called - Adverb of Manner.
"yesterday" tells when she called - Adverb of Time.
"from the park" tells where she called - Adverb of Place.
